What it establishes
The SOP requires Security and Legal approval before an AI vendor can move into production, identifies an accountable owner, and defines the approval decision that should exist.
What it covers
That same work can support governance, accountability, third-party AI, and approval requirements across ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 42005, NIST AI RMF, and applicable EU AI Act requirements.
What is missing
The document does not establish how the approval record is linked to the actual production deployment. From the SOP alone, you cannot prove that only approved AI vendors reached production.
