Turn the control requirement into evidence of execution.

Keep your GRC platform, control register, and existing evidence. Pulse connects that work to the consequential action and closes what is missing between the requirement and the operating result.

The missing link is often the event.

A current policy, assigned control owner, and completed control test can all be valuable. They do not, by themselves, establish that a particular payment, access change, release, or vendor action stayed within the authority that applied.

Fit the standard

Determine which requirements apply to the organization and workflow. Reconcile overlapping obligations while retaining each framework’s distinct criteria.

Close the operating gap

Clarify authority, approval conditions, exception handling, documentation, and required evidence. Approve the repaired standard and retest against it.

Produce the evidence

Link standard version, authority, event conditions, actual outcome, and provenance. Report both established findings and limits in the available records.

Stay in the flow of work.

Where a defined execution endpoint can be instrumented, begin in shadow without changing production behavior. Move to ALLOW, ESCALATE, or BLOCK before commit only when the criteria, exception path, and deployment are approved.

New evidence can feed reporting and review. Changed standards or findings return to the closure loop. This is a continuous operating path, not simply another point-in-time checklist.

The practitioner-signed Execution Integrity Report identifies the scoped workflow, procedures, evidence population, results, unresolved issues, and criteria mapping. The supporting evidence can be organized for management, customers, internal audit, or an independent evaluator.

Formal assurance and framework-specific conclusions remain the evaluator’s responsibility. Pulse complements existing controls testing; it does not replace every required procedure.
